New Cool Features in Cinema 4D R20 - Now Available

These are some of the cool  new features in R20: MoGraph Fields  – Offer unprecedented content creation possibilities to the procedural animation toolset in MoGraph. The Fields feature in Cinema 4D R20 makes it possible to efficiently control the strength of the effect using any combination of falloffs – from simple geometric shapes to shaders and sounds to objects and mathematical formulas. Fields can be mixed and combined with one another in a layer list. Effects can be re-mapped and grouped in multiple Fields to control Effectors, Deformers, weights and more. Volume-based modeling –  The OpenVDB-based Volume Builder and Mesher in Cinema 4D R20 offer an entirely new procedural modeling workflow. Any primitive or polygon object (including the new Fields objects) can be combined to create complex objects using Boolean operations. Adobe makes lost Bauhaus fonts available for use in Creative Cloud apps

The Hidden Treasures Bauhaus Dessau  is a project Adobe launched in collaboration with  Erik Spiekermann , a typeface designer who has worked with clients including Cisco, Mozilla, and Autodesk. The project materialized after the discovery of unfinished typography sketches and letter fragments from the German school  Bauhaus Dessau , which was closed in 1932 by the National Socialist Party. A team of typography professionals and design students worked with the remaining type specimens and  Illustrator CC  to digitize the font sets. Two of the five, ‘Joschmi’ by Joost Schmidt and ‘Xants’ by Xanti Schawinsky are  available  today, and the remaining three will be available in coming months. Designers of the remaining fonts are Alfred Arndt, Carl Marx, and Reinhold Rossig. Adobe is also launching a series of five  design challenges  in conjunction with the fonts.
